Gaining a better understanding of people who are different from us opens up new doors: dialogue between people with disabilities and the general public, and overcoming one's fear of people who are different, are central to this initiative.

Numerous information stands, activities, lectures, film screenings and exhibitions give you the opportunity to learn more about the daily lives and needs of people with disabilities. Every year, the "Dinner in the Dark" event is held.

The 8th edition of the Special Needs Awareness Weeks, which is led by the City's Participative Committee and organised in conjunction with many associations and partners, took place from 27 April to 12 June 2019.

Last year's highlights were: the Special Needs Action and Sports Day at Place d'Armes, and the traditional Inclusion Gala.
