COVID-19 notice

Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Luxembourg is offering a Sports pour tous programme for participants of all age groups. The Service Sports has had to take account of the regulations currently in force, as well as the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health (Ministère de la Santé) and the Ministry of Sport (Ministère des Sports) in order to draw up the programme for the 2020-2021 season. It remains the City's absolute priority to safeguard the health of all participants and instructors. Please note that participants must comply with the social-distancing measures, safety precautions and hygiene practices that apply in all sports facilities (swimming pools, multi-purpose sports halls, gyms, etc.), at all open–air sites (parks, leisure centres, etc.), and for all types of sporting activities on offer. As the pandemic progresses over the coming months, the Government may introduce new measures. These may entail changes in the organisation of the 2020–2021 Sports pour tous programme, such as the adaptation, limitation or even cancellation of certain classes. The City wishes to make it clear that, despite all the measures and precautions taken and all recommendations implemented in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the risk of infection during a Sports pour tous class cannot be ruled out. Everyone participates at their own risk. The City may not be held liable. Participants therefore expressly agree to refrain from bringing any legal suit or action against the City of Luxembourg or against any other party involved in organising said classes. As such, the City asks that all participants and class organisers act responsibly and in the collective interest to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during Sports pour tous classes.
